Abu Dhabi

Aukett Fitzroy Robinson established itself with the design of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Building and the Arab Monetary Fund Headquarters on the Corniche, Abu Dhabi - which at that time was on the waterfront.

AFR built its reputation by delivering many government and commercial projects throughout the region during the construction boom of the 1980s. Key buildings include the Kuwait Law Courts, the National Day Parade Grandstand, Abu Dhabi and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oman which was awarded a distinction by the Arab Cities for the ‘Best Project related to Islamic Architecture’ in 1985.
